چکیده
The 3-Chymotrypsine-Like Protease (3CLpro) is an enzyme that has a major function in the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) life cycle. It can be utilized s protein target search for new medications. Herbal plants are expected to have contributions prevention and treatment of 2019 Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19), as many herbal might strong affinity 3CLpro COVID-19. purpose this study examine inhibitory activity, pytochemical components, antioxidant extracts from nine extracted by Ultrasound Assisted Extraction (UAE) method potential inhibit recombinant SARS-CoV-2 using vitro result, it used find novel medication candidates COVID-19 therapy. Determining activity DPPH ABTS method, total polyphenol flavonoid content Folin Ciocalteu quercetin method. From tested, Java Plum leaves (Syzygium cumini) had most active with value (IC50 = 226 μg/ml) 413±1.83 mg GAE/g extract 12.091±0.037 QE/g extract. Measurement obtained IC50 3.751 ± 0.0149 μg/ml, gives 4.43±0.06μg/ml. This suggests could source anti-COVID.

Anti-inflammatory activity of Syzygium Cumini leaves
The Syzygium cumini (Myrtaceae) is a popular traditional medicinal plant in India. This study was intended to evaluate the antiinflammatory activity of ethyl acetate and methanol extracts of S.cumini leaves in carrageenan induced paw oedema in wistar rats at the dose level of 200 and 400 mg/kg administrated orally. Both the extracts exhibited significant anti-inflammatory activity, which suppor...

BACKGROUND The 3C-like protease (3CL(pro)) of severe acute respiratory syndrome-coronavirus is required for autoprocessing of the polyprotein, and is a potential target for treating coronaviral infection. METHODOLOGY/PRINCIPAL FINDINGS To obtain a thorough understanding of substrate specificity of the protease, a substrate library of 198 variants was created by performing saturation mutagenes...
متن کاملEvaluation of the antioxidant activity of Syzygium cumini leaves.
The antioxidant activity of Syzygium cumini leaf extracts was investigated using the 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) free radical-scavenging and ferric-reducing antioxidant power (FRAP) assays. The methanolic extract and its four water, ethyl acetate, chloroform, and n-hexane fractions were prepared and subjected to antioxidant evaluation. The results showed that the ethyl acetate fraction...
